The Hangover’s Rob Riggle has a shockingly good time at Hyde

The 2012 Billboard Music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena aren’t until Sunday but that didn’t stop the stars from hitting the strip this past weekend for some Las Vegas food, fun, and festivities.

Funnyman Rob Riggle, best known for his roles in The Hangover, 21 Jump Street, The Other Guys, and Saturday Night Live partied at Hyde Bellagio with a group of friends, including TV star Jason “JROC” Craig over the weekend. The group took in the Las Vegas nightclub from a private booth above the dance floor where they danced and partied into the early hours of the morning.

Chef Bobby Flay was also spotted enjoying Las Vegas’ nightlife at Surrender in Steve Wynn’s Encore, as was Phoenix Suns star Grant Hill who was in town celebrating his wife Tamia’s birthday. The couple also celebrated her birthday at Lavo in the Palazzo.

Actress Brittany Snow celebrated her birthday at 1 OAK in the Mirage. Snow and a group of friends enjoyed dinner at Stack Restaurant & Bar before heading over to the Las Vegas nightclub where she was spotted dancing and drinking the night away. Also at 1 OAK was Sopranos star Rob Iler, Saturday Night Live alum Rob Schneider, and “Mayhem” himself Dean Winters.

On Sunday the stars seemed to relish in Las Vegas’ many delectable restaurants as 10-time Grammy Award-winner and House of Blues headliner Carlos Santana enjoyed dinner at Fix in the Bellagio. The singer stayed at the Bellagio until almost midnight enjoying the restaurant’s many tasty food options. At Caesars Palace, actor and Las Vegas connoisseur Nicholas Cage and his wife Alice dined at Rao’s while fellow actor, singer and model Tyresse Gibson dined at Joe’s Stone Crab in the Forum Shops.

NFL free agent Andre Carter enjoyed the popular Las Vegas show Blue Man Group in the Venetian. After the performance the star athlete headed to a VIP lounge where he met the blue men for a private meet-and-greet. And speaking of athletes, Reggie Bush of the Miami Dolphins attended “Dancing With the Stars: Live in Las Vegas” at the Tropicana on Sunday night. After the show, cast members Joey Fatone and Lacey Schwimmer partied at the Bank in the Bellagio.

The cast of Absinthe at Caesars Palace welcomed the all-new New York production show, Empire on Sunday with a special dress rehearsal at the Absinthe tent. Following the special preview, the Empire cast hung around to take photos with the Absinthe cast.

That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today but check back tomorrow when I have more on the stars who are expected to be in town for the 2012 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday.
