Tim Allen, David Spade, Jay Leno Help you Laugh into February

January may have been filled with New Year’s Eve festivities, adult entertainment stars and beauty pageants but February is all about the laughs. Beginning this weekend, Feb. 1 and running throughout the month the Strip will be one non-stop laugh factory as some of the biggest names in stand-up bring their witty, sarcastic and shocking routines to the city. Here’s who will have you cracking up all month long.

Tim Allen – Golden Globe Award-winning actor and comedian, Tim Allen is the first comedian up on our standup list. Beginning Feb. 1 and running through Feb. 2, Allen will bring his not-so-family-friendly standup routine back to the Venetian Showroom stage. And in an effort to bring more laughs to Vegas in 2013 he’ll return three weeks later, Feb. 22 & 23 for another hilarious show that’ll keep you laughing well into March.

Jay Leno – On Feb. 8, the Mirage will welcome back the witty “The Tonight Show” host Jay Leno. Guests can expect to see the late night host turn his 5-minute monologues from the show into one unique and hilarious routine you don’t want to miss.

David Spade – Between Tim Allen’s risqué standups, the Venetian Showroom will welcome back the snarky and sarcastic humor of Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominee David Spade on Feb. 15 & 16. Known for his dry sense of humor on “Weekend Update” on “Saturday Night Live,” Spade is one of the funniest guys we know and one who always manages to surprise us (and sometimes make us blush) with his hilarious commentary.

Ron White – Over at the Mirage, the Scotch drinking, cigar-smoking comedian Ron “Tater Salad” White presents Ron White’s Comedy Salute from Vegas to benefit the Armed Forces Foundation. White will join friends onstage for an evening of laughter, good times and giving back. The special will be recorded and later aired on Country Music Television. Then on Feb. 15 & 16 White will return to the Mirage stage for his usual blue-collar comedy.

Kevin James – On Feb. 9, sitcom and movie star Kevin James will bring his kooky standup to the Mirage. Known for his physical comedy, James will hit the stage without his comedy cohort Ray Romano but that doesn’t mean he won’t still make us laugh uncontrollably like he used to on “King of Queens.”

Craig Ferguson –In between Tim Allen and David Spade, Emmy Award-winning Scotsman and “Late Late Show” host Craig Ferguson will hit the Venetian stage on Feb. 8 & 9 for his straightforward approach to comedy. You can catch a glimpse of the Emmy-nominated comedian and what his standup will be like during his monologues on the “Late Late Show”

Eddie Griffin – Throughout February, the Rio Showroom will be offering up “liquid blunt” from “Deuce Bigalow” star and comedian Eddie Griffin. His first show, Monday, Feb 4 is sure to offend, make you cringe and make you bust out laughing like you never have before. Get ready for one of the most controversial comics today. Eddie performs every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the month.
