Top Goaltender Henrik Lundqvist and fellow NHL players at LAVO

With the NHL Awards at Encore last night and the usual celebrities that have bombarded the Strip for parties and hosting duties, Las Vegas has been busier than usual this week. So much so that it has taken me almost a week to tell you who has been spotted around town. So without further ado, here is the last bit of Las Vegas celebrity news for this week:

On Monday, punk band All Time Low celebrated lead guitarists Jack Barakat’s 24th birthday at the weekly Beachlife pool party, Relax Mondays at Hard Rock Hotel.

Barakat was joined by musician friends Carah Faye, lead singer for Shiny Toy Guns; as well as band members from the groups Yellowcard, Of Mice and Men, Every Time I Die and We The Kings. Barakat and his band members are in town for the 18th annual Warped Tour Festival that kicked off yesterday.

Tom Hank’s son, actor Colin Hanks and his wife Samantha Bryant were spotted enjoying the nightlife at Pure at Caesars Palace on Tuesday. Also partying at the Las Vegas nightclub was Los Angeles Kings captain Dustin Brown. Brown and his teammates spent the evening celebrating their recent 2012 NHL Stanley Cup win.

And speaking of the NHL, Henrik Lundqvist of the New York Rangers spent Tuesday night hosting All Night Tuesdays at Lavo in the Palazzo.  The goaltender, who won the Vezina Trophy for the league’s top goaltender at last nights NHL Awards posed for photos on the red carpet before signing a few autographs for a crowd of fans.

Before taking over a VIP table in the nightclub, Lundqvist enjoyed dinner at Lavo with a few other NHL players including Shane O’Brien of the Colorado Avalanche, Claude Giroux of the Philadelphia Flyers and Paul Bissonnette of the Phoenix Coyotes. Stay tuned for more details on last night’s NHL Awards and where the hockey players partied after the show.

Also on Tuesday, rocker Chad Gilbert from New Found Glory and some friends took in the early show of Ka by Cirque du Soleil at MGM Grand. NHL player John-Michael Liles of the Toronto Maple Leafs was also spotted at the Las Vegas show.

In upcoming celebrity news, model, actress and 2007 Playmate of the Year Sara Underwood will be heating things up at Tabu Ultra Lounge in MGM Grand on Friday, June 29. Stay tuned for more details on Underwood’s hosting duties. And don’t forget to catch ventriloquist comedian Jeff Dunahm tomorrow night when he returns to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for a one-night only show.

That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today but check back tomorrow for this weekend’s celebrity preview.
