Weekend Preview: Catch Kelly Clarkson at Mandalay Bay and More
|
It’s another music-infused weekend here in Las Vegas with some of the biggest names in the industry with Kelly Clarkson, Reel Big Fish and Busta Rhymes just a few of the names hitting the Strip for performances and parties. As always I have the complete rundown of celebrities you can expect to bump into during your time in Sin City. Here is this weekend’s celebrity preview:
Tonight Grammy and “American Idol” Season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson, The Fray, and Carolina Liar will be taking the stage at the Chelsea Ballroom in the Cosmopolitan. Meanwhile, Reel Big Fish, the Maxies, Big D and the Kids Table and Suburban Legends are at House of Blues at Mandalay Bay. For today’s daytime music, Kottonmouth Kings and Dilated Peoples are at the Hard Rock Hotel Pool.
Then, it’s party time, celebrity-style with Soulja Boy at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at the Paris. Kelis brings her milkshake to Tryst in the Wynn while Hard Rock Sofa spins at XS in Encore. Max Graham and Mischa Daniels party at both Marquee Dayclub and Marquee Nightclub in the Cosmopolitan while T-Pain is at Ditch Fridays in the Palms. Fabulous is at Palms Pool and Teen Wolf and Caroline D’Amore are at Vanity in the Hard Rock Hotel.
On Saturday the concerts continue with Tenacious D with The Sights at House of Blues. SRH Fest 2012: NOFX and Unwritten Law are at Hard Rock Pool. Dwight Yoakam is at Eastside Cannery and Black Uhuru is at Hard Rock Café on the Strip. Also at the Hard Rock, Barenaked Ladies, Blues Traveler, Big Head Todd and The Monster, & Cracker will be at the Joint.
And somewhere between the music and the parties, Luxor headliner and “Believe” star Criss Angel will host a meet-and-greet after his 9:30 p.m. show.
The Saturday night parties begin with Busta Rhymes (what it is right now) as he bring his music to Vanity in the Hard Rock during his hosting duties. Kaskade spins at Marquee Dayclub and Nightclub while Sex Panther spins at Palms Pool. Rita Ora both hosts and performs at Lavo in the Palazzo and Playboy Playmate Anna Sophia Berglund hosts at Crazy Horse III.
Sunday funday brings in the “too cold” Vanilla Ice at Flamingo’s Go Pool and Harrah’s Carnival Court. Krewella is at Tao Beach in the Venetian and Chromeo spins at Wet Republic at MGM Grand. Busta brings his rhymes back but at Rehab this time and DJ Sat-One is at Palms Pool.
