What a Sight: Best Views in Vegas
There is no denying Las Vegas is a gorgeous city. From the bright lights of the hotels, restaurants and nightclubs that glow in the night sky to the rolling mountains that sit quietly in the city’s backdrop, in The Entertainment Capital of the World there is always a view. And if you want to see both Las Vegas’ skyline and its surrounding nature there are a few places you can visit that will take you high above the city for views you won’t believe.

Here are some of the best places to experience the best views of Las Vegas:

Stratosphere Observation Deck and Tower – This unique Las Vegas hotel is easily the first place you think of when you think spectacular Las Vegas views. Located on the north side of the Strip, the Stratosphere Observation Deck boasts a nearly 1,150 foot tall tower that lets visitors stand an impressive 869 feet above Las Vegas Blvd. America’s tallest observation deck, the tower gives you 360-views of the city and even the mountainous terrain that surrounds the Strip. And as if that wasn’t impressive enough, guests can not only take in Las Vegas’ beauty from higher than ever they can swing over and even drop down the side of the tower on Stratosphere’s many thrill rides for views that are unheard of! You can even take in the views while you enjoy dinner at The Top of the World rotating restaurant.

Mix, Mandalay Bay – And speaking of eating high above the city lights, on the opposite end of the Strip from the Stratosphere is Mix, a restaurant and lounge located on the top of THEhotel at Mandalay Bay. While the restaurant serves up award-winning cuisine, it’s the lounge that really lures in the guests. Offering a unique bar menu and seductive music, Mix Lounge let’s guests kick off their night with a stunning view of the city on the 64th-floor balcony! You’ll see the Strip at its brightest as reds, oranges, greens and blues from the building’s marquees create a gorgeous canopy against the dark night sky. In the distance you’ll see the Stratosphere hotel, MGM Grand, the Mirage, Bellagio and serene mountains all while enjoying a tasty cocktail.

Ghostbar, Palms – Off the Strip in the Palms Hotel & Casino is the Ghostbar, one of the sleekest and hippest lounges in Las Vegas. And besides the gorgeous people, innovative décor and incredible ambiance, Ghostbar’s draw is its outdoor sky deck with glass inserts in the floors that offer a 360-degree view of the glowing Strip. And did I mention it’s located on the 55th floor so you know you’ll be seeing breathtaking views of the city below.
