What to do in Las Vegas in July 2012

Fourth of July aside, this month in The Entertainment Capital of the World is bound to be one explosive month as the city puts on some of its best entertainment of the year. Get ready for hot pool parties, hilarious comedians, word-class singers and some annual Las Vegas events you can’t find anywhere else. Here’s what’s happening in Las Vegas in July:
Independence Day It’ll be another busy Fourth of July on the Strip as fireworks, pool parties and nightclubs are all on tap for the holiday fun. As far as fireworks go you can’t miss Station Casinos’ annual display on July 4 at 9 p.m. from Aliante Station, Green Valley Ranch, Fiesta Rancho, Texas Station and Red Rock Resort. Tao Beach will host a sizzling barbecue and a $5,000 bikini contest for the girl who shows off her patriotism. LAX in the Luxor will be celebrating the holiday with fireworks and DJ Gusto. Encore Beach Club will throw their own free Fourth of July party for locals with music from Dada Life. The patriotic fun will continue into the weekend so make sure you get here to experience it all!
Comedy July’s comedy lineup starts off with a bang as “The Tonight Show” host and comedian Jay Leno brings his sharp stand-up routine to the Mirage for one night only on Saturday, July 7 at 10:00 p.m. Then on Friday, July 13 and Saturday, July 14 “Blue Collar Comedy” comedian Ron “Tater Salad” White will sip on scotch and smoke his signature cigar on the Mirage stage for a show that’ll leave you laughing all weekend long.
The Venetian will be all laughs this July as well as the sharp-tongued and dry humored Rita Rudner takes to the Venetian Showroom stage July 18, 23 and 25 for her residency show that’s clever, sharp and downright hilarious.
Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner and television icon, Jerry Seinfeld will explode onto the stage Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The actor and comedian will have you in stitches as he uses his observational humor to point out life’s oddities for a show you don’t want to miss.
Summer Fun Celebrate your imagination this July at the Venetian’s annual Carnevale event. The festivities kicked off in June but this July, Carnevale will feature art, children activities, music and plenty of food and drink to go along with your Las Vegas fun including a concert series featuring musicians and vocalists in the Venetian Showroom during Mese di Musica; Carneval Nights at Azure Pool in the Palazzo; Carnevale Festival Parade and so much more.
