What To Do In Vegas in October

There is usually no want for things to do in Las Vegas and this October is no different as The Entertainment Capital of the World readies themselves for one sexy, sultry and naughty Halloween party but not before plenty of comedians, concerts and shows hit the Strip for non-stop entertainment.

Comedy returns as king in October with late night host Jay Leno returning to the Aces of Comedy stage at the Mirage on Friday, Oct. 12 and Saturday, Oct. 13. Then on Friday, Oct. 19 and Saturday, Oct. 20 sitcom stars and comedians Kevin James and Ray Romano will also hit the mirage stage for two nights of witty comedy.

Over at the Venetian, award-winning comedian Rita Rudner will return to her residency for four nights in October beginning Monday, Oct. 1; Wednesday, Oct. 3; Wednesday Oct. 17 and Tuesday, Oct. 23. In between Rudner’s soft-spoken humor will be the cutting one-liners of Saturday Night Live alum and actor David Spade on Friday, Oct. 5 and Saturday, Oct. 6. Then on Saturday, Oct. 13 “Home Improvement” star Tim Allen will bring his not-so-family-friendly stand up to the Venetian for one night only.

Legendary crooner, Rod Stewart continues his residency and sold-out performances at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in October with performances on Wednesday, Oct. 3; Saturday, Oct. 6 and Sunday, Oct. 7. Then the piano man himself, Sir Elton John will take over the Colosseum stage with his hit show Elton John: The Million Dollar Piano Man for eleven nights in October.

Blue Man Group will say goodbye to the Venetian and hello to its new home at the Monte Carlo next month. With its move will come a new updated show that will include electrifying music, sensational technology, an interactive audience experience and a new female character Showbot who is said to be part human, part robot. Monte Carlo will be hyping up its newest residence with a parade of drummers, musicians, robots and puppets that will wind their way through the Las Vegas hotel daily, 45 minutes before the production. The new Blue Man Group show will debut Oct. 10 at the Monte Carlo.

October is also your last chance to catch blonde beauty and Hugh Hefner’s former girlfriend Holly Madison in her sexy, sultry and topless role as Bo Peep in Peepshow at Planet Hollywood. Madison will continue to wow audiences with her burlesque numbers until Saturday, Oct. 21.

Then for the biggest Halloween party in the city, head to the Hard Rock Hotel for the Fetish & Fantasy Halloween Ball on Oct. 27. Named as “one of the top 10 events in the world” by travel Channel and “one of 5 events to attend before you die” by Maxim Magazine, the Fetish & Fantasy Halloween Ball is to die for!

Stay tuned for more details on this Halloween event as well as other Halloween parties planned for Vegas.
