It was a star-studded night as One Night for One Drop welcomed The Tenors, William Shatner, Grace VanderWaal, Redfoo and others for the fifth annual philanthropy event on March 3.
One Night for One Drop raises funds and awareness to benefit critical water issues worldwide. Held inside the Zumanity Theater at New York-New York Hotel & Casino, the gala featured performances by multi-platinum selling vocal group The Tenors and Emmy award-winning actor William Shatner, with additional performances by “America’s Got Talent” winner Grace VanderWaal, rapper Redfoo, “America’s Got Talent” finalist Malevo and more.
While the entire night was spectacular a few highlights included amazing performances by The Tenors, specifically the renditions of “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Who Wants to Live Forever,” by rock band Queen. Grace performed “Light in the Sky” and Shatner and Redfoo appeared together in the finale. Malevo showed off some amazing choreography and aerialists Duo Sky Angels wowed with their stunning aerial routine.
Following the event, guests were invited to party poolside, and enjoyed a surprise performance by boy band “Backstreet Boys,” who performed iconic hits like “Everybody,” “Larger Than Life” and “I Want It That Way.” Electronic music superstars SULTAN + SHEPARD then took over the stage with a two-hour set featuring all sorts of hits.
