Lourdes Gutierrez is the newest travel writer to join the BestOfVegas.com team. Like the rest of us, travel has been a life-long passion of hers. She has been to various cities across the US, Canada, and the Caribbean, as well as her favorite destination – Japan. The never ending sights and sounds that Las Vegas has to offer is what drew this art and entertainment lover into Sin City!

Lourdes’ favorite part about Las Vegas is the bevy of entertainment and show options. Her all time favorite show in Vegas is LOVE! With her strong passion for music and her favorite music group, The Beatles, LOVE is one show that Lourdes could see over and over again! “I love how the show takes the hit songs of The Beatles and turns them into a visual display, so that you can really see the background and story behind each and every song,” says Lourdes. “I have such a love for music and to see my favorite group’s songs come to life…it really is breathtaking!”

She also loves the Cirque du Soleil show “O,” for its beautiful aerial and water choreography set to interesting music. As long as there are Cirque du Soleil shows (and other exciting shows to see) in Las Vegas, she’ll be there ready to report for a BestOfVegas.com review.

When not writing about the best Vegas destinations, happenings, and celebrity hot-spots, Lourdes enjoys catching up on the latest movies and concerts, as well as her favorite television show LOST. An avid baseball and hockey fan, you can catch Lourdes watching Florida Panthers hockey games, or cheering on the Boston Red Sox.

With a passion for English from a very young age and writing her own stories, journal entries, and articles her entire life, Lourdes went on to attain her Bachelor’s Degree in English with a specialization in Professional Writing from Barry University in Miami, Florida. She later received a Graduate Studies Certificate in Asian Studies with a Japanese Cultural Focus from Florida International University, following her love for Asian cultures and the country of Japan.
