Bellagio Poker Room

Though you might be considered a high roller if you stay at one of Las Vegas’ ultra luxury suites (such as the Chairman Suite at the Venetian), the truth of the matter is that the real deal high rollers are those that play high-stakes poker. And there’s no better place to do that than the Poker Room at the Bellagio. As the playground for Vegas poker legends such as Doyle Brunson and Daniel Negreanu, the Bellagio’s Poker Room is where a serious amount of cash flows continuously like water. Or maybe like rain, because on some hands you’ll see it, and on other ones, you won’t.

One of the stops on the famed World Poker Tour, the Bellagio Poker Room is 7,000 square feet of pure, unadulterated poker. Forty tables and two high-limit areas offer plenty of action, one of which being the prominent Bobby’s Room. There, two tables provide the highest limit poker action in the world, with a $20,000 minimum buy-in. On any given day and any given hour (the Poker Room is open 24 hours a day), you just might see the Brunson’s and other notable poker players here.

A serious poker spot for serious players who don’t want anything to distract them, the Bellagio Poker Room is smoke-free and offers 24-hour table-side dining along with complimentary beverage service. It also features safe deposit boxes, a full-service cashier cage, a state-of-the-art music system, eight television monitors, and eleven 42” plasma screens. Even the chairs are comfortable, and the service is top-notch. You might also be inspired by the artwork on the walls, which depict past Bellagio tournaments and World Tour Events. There’s also a LeRoy Neiman-commissioned painting of high-stakes poker legends in Bobby’s Room.

The Bellagio Poker Room features daily No Limit Hold’em tournaments for those looking to hone their playing skills. And since the Poker Room is the best and most popular in Vegas, expect to wait if you want to play, especially during prime hours (which are 10 pm to 2 am); it’s not unheard of to wait more than hour for a seat at a low limit game during the weekend.
