No high-roller experience in Las Vegas is complete without the right dining to match the lifestyle. And at Joël Robuchon at the MGM Grand, high rollers will find gastronomical delights that will amaze their taste buds and equally tax their wallets. Named after its master Chef, this Parisian restaurant serves the epitome of gourmet French cuisine.
Adorned in the style of Parisian Art Deco, Joël Robuchon imparts a French elegance akin to a private mansion from the moment you step on the black and white marble checkerboard floor. A stylish dining room exudes sophistication and prepares diners for a gourmet experience of a lifetime with beige, violet, and black furnishings, and Lalique vases. A private dining room offers intimate elegance.
As beautiful as the restaurant’s design and décor is, it pales in comparison to the cuisine. With traditional French dishes prepared to perfection using the finest and freshest ingredients, Chef Robuchon is truly a master of his craft. Joël Robuchon offers three gastronomical journeys otherwise known as prix-fixe meals. One is a six-course tasting menu costing $250 a person. The restaurant also offers a white truffle menu costing $500 a person that features dishes with the rare ingredient. However, the restaurant is most famous for its $385 a person, 16-course meal that takes over four hours to eat. Often called the best meal in America, anyone who tries it says its worth any penny, and most call it the most incredible meal of their lives.
An a la carte menu is also available, with hot and cold appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Signature entrees include La Langoustine and Le Bar; La Langoustine is a truffled langoustine ravioli with chopped cabbage, and Le Bar is a pan-fried sea bass with a lemon grass foam and stewed baby leeks. Joël Robuchon also features one of the most impressive bread carts of any restaurant, with gruyere bread, basil focaccia, and more.
The first Joël Robuchon restaurant in the US, this culinary experience has been awarded the Mobil 5 Star Award, the AAA 5 Diamond Award, and the Michelin Guide 3-Star rating, the only restaurant to win that accolade in Las Vegas. If you have the funds and the time to enjoy only one restaurant in Las Vegas, you certainly won’t be disappointed at Joël Robuchon.
