Bally's Pool

This classic Las Vegas hotel is also home to one of the most legendary pool scenes in town. At first the pool at Bally’s may look a bit understate, but don’t be fooled, it’s really a piece of Las Vegas history. Many parts of the pool were once a part of the old MGM Grand pool and were passed down to Bally’s after a remodel. Thousands of tiny blue tiles shine like gemstones at the bottom of the pool as a tribute to the old MGM.

This pool is also one of the last deep pools in Vegas. Although diving isn’t permitted, it is certainly possible with a 12 foot deep end. The pool is heated and has shallow ledges around one end for sunbathers to sit partially emerged in water. There is also a large hot tub for relaxation during the cooler months. This is also one of the few pools in Vegas large enough for swimming laps. Unlike many Strip hotels, the pool at Bally’s isn’t a combination of small shallow pools. It’s just one large pool with plenty of swimming area. The pool is always a classic Las Vegas hang-out.

Bally’s also offers some of the lowest prices in town on Cabana rentals. Cabana’s all come complete with a TV, refrigerator, telephone, ceiling fan, mister, patio with four lounge chairs, pools rafts, towels, personal hostess, and other amenities. There is also a bar located right on the pool deck so snacks and drinks are never too far away. The nearby Terrace Café is also a great place to enjoy a light lunch with their delicious salads and sandwiches.
Poolside beverage service is also available during the summer months. The deck itself is beautifully kept with palm trees and tropical plants covering the garden area. The pool is heated, however because of the detail and tile work in the bottom of the pool, it must be drained for the season and cleaned annually so the pool shuts down November-March, but guests staying at Bally’s are welcome to use the pool at  Paris, which is connected to Bally’s and is open year round.
