Best of the Bellagio

The Bellagio is one of the most prestigious luxury hotels on the Strip with a fine art gallery and a natural conservatory filled with plants, flowers, and water features to create a landscape that changes throughout the seasons. Since the Bellagio is so big, all of the dining and entertainment options can become a bit overwhelming. Here are some of our top picks:

Although the Bellagio has several fine dining options that offer cuisine from chefs all over the world, one of our favorites happens to be one of their more casual dining spots. However, don’t let the word “casual” fool you. This restaurant is often frequented by celebrities and VIPs of all sorts. Fix at the Bellagio takes simple American cuisine and completely re-invents it. Even the décor at Fix is modern and fun. The ceiling is made almost completely of Costa Rican Padouk wood that twists and bends above your head. The menu includes updated dishes consisting mostly of steak, poultry, and seafood. The real star at Fix is their dessert menu! Try the warm donuts or the bubble gum floats. Fix also happens to be very reasonably priced.

If you are looking to go all out and enjoy a great meal mixed with a splash of culture, Picasso will fulfill all your fine dining needs. More than just a five star French restaurant, Picasso is an art gallery displaying original Pablo Picasso paintings throughout the restaurant. There is no other restaurant like it in Las Vegas and it is by far one of our favorites.

You cannot visit the Bellagio without stopping by the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Each season a team of hundreds of horticulturists create a seasonally themed scene using only flowers, plants, and water. Different flowers come together to take the shape of people, things, places, and objects that you have to see up-close to even believe they are made of flowers. Water features and other props are added to the flowers to create a landscape that draws in hundreds of visitors a day. The Conservatory and Botanical Gardens are free to view, so there is no reason not to stop by.

When it comes to entertainment at the Bellagio, there is only one show to see. Cirque du Soleil’s “O” is the best in town. The show takes place on a large lake in the middle of the theater. Performers enter and exit from the water in a show that will take you into a surreal world where nothing is as it seems. “O” is one of the best shows in a Vegas and if you like Cirque du Soleil, “O” is a must see.

After hours, check out the newest club in Las Vegas, Bank at the Bellagio is the newest creation of the Light Group and this club is action-packed. A state-of-the-art sound system blasts some of the latest hits (mixed with all your favorite dance music). A spectacular light show and European bottle service make this club one of the best in town for dancing the night away.
