Bellagio Lobby Review

The Lobby at the Bellagio is truly one of a kind. More than just a place to get your room key and relax for a moment, the Bellagio’s lobby is a work of art. As you approach the front entrance you must pass by the unmistakable 8-acre lake that separates the statuesque hotel from the busy Las Vegas Strip. If you are lucky enough to enter at night, you will be greeted by a fountain show like none-other in the entire world. When entering the extraordinary hotel, you will notice the ceiling immediately. Following the floral theme of the hotel, 2,000 hand-blown glass flowers hang from the ceiling in a plethora of colors, with no two alike. Each flower unique and each specifically designed to fit into the work of art as a whole, artist Dale Chihuly created the masterpiece to allow the Bellagio to remind guests of spring no matter what the season. If you enjoy this sculpture, you must visit the Gallery of Fine Art, also located inside the Bellagio.

To offset the large and bright piece of art, the rest of the lobby is decorated in warm brown and earth tones. Suede seating and comfortable throw pillows are paired with large bouquets of real flowers for a light and natural feeling. Marble flooring and white columns give the lobby a luxury touch to give guests a slight preview into the beauty that awaits them inside their guest rooms. Flowers in the lobby are changed out almost daily to ensure that guests will always experience the constant aroma of a variety of fresh seasonal flowers. Like the conservatory and other natural features like plant life and water features found throughout the hotel, the lobby combines nature and art in a way that is both beautiful and luxurious.
