Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? We all know it’s SpongeBob Squarepants, but did you know you can enjoy SpongeBob Squarepants in 4D at the Excalibur? This great feature, which is part of the medieval-themed hotel’s Fantasy Faire, will let SpongeBob fans of all ages enjoy an incredible 4D adventure through Bikini Bottom! Utilizing both 3D and 4D technology, you, the audience, will join SpongeBob and Patrick on the journey for a perfect Krabby Patty. The lovable sea sponge and starfish duo will chase the perfect pickle through the sea as you are bombarded by bubbles, spritzes of water and a variety of smells (that’s the 4D part). Because of your 3D glasses, you will visually feel as if you are in the water with SpongeBob, Patrick and the rest of the Bikini Bottom gang. It’s a great little adventure for guests of all ages and a huge hit with families traveling with kids. You must be 42 inches high or taller to experience SpongeBob Square Pants in 4D! Once your adventure in Bikini Bottom is complete and you’ve obtained the perfect Krabby Patty, don’t forget to check out the rest of the Midway. You can find great carnival games to play and have fun after your undersea adventure is complete. If all of that fun leaves you hungry you can stop by the Excalibur’s food court for a quick bite to eat. They have all of your favorite American chains like Starbucks, Auntie Annie’s, Krispy Kreme, McDonald’s, Quizno’s, Pizza Hut and more. It’s perfect for picky kids or guests travelling on a budget (and you can always get the kids a burger and tell them it’s their own Krabby Patty!) If you would rather do a bit of shopping you can check out Castle Walk, the Excalibur’s medieval bazaar where you will find all sorts of souvenirs to remember your trip to the Excalibur. You can also find Camelot-themed items and a $10 dollar boutique for the ultimate affordable gifts. Whether you enjoy the fun of SpongeBob SquarePants in 4D or a simple day playing games at the Midway, there is plenty to do at the Excalibur.
