|
The wildlife area at the Flamingo is home to several species of birds, fish, and turtles. The tropical area around the pool is plush and luxurious. Tall palm trees, rocks, and beautiful grass areas create an island setting that is perfect for taking pictures or just relaxing. Flamingo’s walk right along side you as you stroll the pathways carved into the rocks. The pool and habitat area are intertwined to create one beautifully kept outdoor oasis.
Koi ponds are also common in the wildlife habitat and the brightly colored fish contrast nicely with all the green foliage that surrounds them. There are over 300 birds scattered about the grounds of the Flamingo hotel. The Flamingos are flown here from Chile and they live right here on-site. The animals at the habitat are cared for by professional zoologists. Waterfalls and other water features make the Flamingos feel like they are in their natural habitat. The wildlife habitat is also open 24 hours a day, so anytime that the casino feels a bit too hectic just step out into this garden oasis for a few minutes of relaxation.
