Fremont Casino and Sports Book

At 32,000 square feet, the Fremont Casino is the place to go for gambling downtown. Tourists, locals, and Las Vegas junkies come together at the Fremont to enjoy some of the best odds in Vegas. They offer low bet minimums, penny slots, and lots of comps! All of your favorite games are available at the Fremont including: blackjack, craps, three card poker, Let It Ride, and Pai Gow. Keno machines and even live keno are still popular here at the Fremont, long after most hotels have turned their keno areas into restaurants. Most tables offer minimums around $5. However, people really come to Fremont for their wide selection of slot machines. There are so many to choose from that it can get overwhelming. They offer both the traditional coin slots as well as the new computerized ticket slots. Progressive slots, video poker, and penny megabucks are just a few of the machines you’ll find at the Fremont. Machines range from a penny to $25.

The cocktail waitresses at the Fremont casino are a sight to see. They are usually dressed in elaborate peacock costumes that easily remind customers of Vegas’s glory days. The casino itself is reminiscent of old Las Vegas as well. The casino hasn’t changed much since its opening and that’s the way most people like it here. The dealers at Fremont are much friendlier than those you’ll find on the Strip and they are eager to help you learn the game. Because of the dealers and low minimum bets, the Fremont is a great place to come for beginners who are just trying to learn the games and not lose all their money in the process.  Also, don’t forget to get a slot card and enjoy comps given out by the casino. Fremont loves to give away free meals and their slot cards are the best way to get them.

The Fremont also has a pretty popular sports book. They have 34 screens; half are dedicated to sports, the other half are for horse races. Each TV offers its own seat and they are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Minimum bets at the sports book are $5 for sports and $2 for racing. There are also six betting windows with electronic signboards.

The casino is often running promotions such as giving gifts to those who get more than 21 blackjacks in a 24 hour period. Also their players cards can be used at California and Main Street Station hotels as well.
