The Hooters Hotel is one of the most relaxed or as they call it, “delightfully tacky, yet unrefined” hotels in Las Vegas. The beach atmosphere and sexy Hooters girls make have made Hooters restaurants an all-American tradition. Now, they are bringing the fun to Las Vegas with a complete Hooters themed hotel and casino. This isn’t your average gambling joint though; this casino is more like a wild frat party than a smoky card room.
The casino is somewhat small but packs a big punch when it gets busy. The best part about this casino is that Hooters girls are everywhere. They are dealing your cards, getting your drinks; they are even on the video screens on the slots.
The Hooters casino offers all your favorite games like blackjack, roulette, baccarat, craps, 3 card poker, Pai-Gow, Let It Ride, and many others. Many of the games have Hooters girls as dealers or even the coveted Rack Pack club. A spin-off of the Rat Pack, the Rack Pack girls wear skimpy gangster outfits and deal cards as well. Most minimum bets at this casino are $5 for table games and $10 on the weekends. Craps offers standard 3x4x5x odds and single-deck blackjack pays the standard 6:5. When it comes to slots there are plenty and there are tons of penny slots. Many of the slots even have a Hooters theme and there are also plenty of progressive slots as well as video poker machines.
The sports book at Hooters is interesting because it’s actually just a sports bar called Pete and Shorty with TVs in it that allows betting. There are 14 TVs total and to be honest, this is a great way to bet on sports and have fun enjoying the game at the same time. In most hotels people will bet at the sports book and then head to the sports bar to watch the action. At Hooters you can do both. Free drinks are given to those betting and food is served as well.
There are also several tables set up in the Hooters casino poker room. Two of the tables are just for tournaments which are almost always going on the weekends. The poker room offers mostly Hold-em and a few no-limit games. The also offer poker classes on weekdays at 1pm for new players. There is usually now wait on games so this is a fun place to go if you’re looking to get right in the action on your favorite game. Comps are offered through the casinos Owl Rewards Club and they often reward frequent customers. Those playing the tables should play at least $25 and up tables in order to get noticed by one of the casino hosts.
