Imperial Palace Casino Review

The casino at Imperial Palace is one of the most-themed places in town. The Chinese themed atmosphere is all over the place from red curtains to dark oriental furnishings. The casino itself offers all your favorite table games and slots. Games like baccarat, blackjack, Pai Gow, Three Card Poker, and pretty much anything else you could want are available at the large Imperial Palace Casino. The hotels central location on the Strip and discounted room prices make it popular among the locals and travelers on a budget. Slots are by far the most popular here and they have all recently been upgraded to use tickets instead of coins. This is a much easier system than the old coins in the bucket. Slots at Imperial Palace are also multi-denominational now so you don’t have to search for the penny slots anymore. The slots at Imperial Palace range from a penny to around $5 and many of the old timers at this casino enjoy the cheap slots.

When it comes to card games minimums are usually $5 which is very reasonable considering the hotel is really on the Strip. The cocktail service inside the casino is fast and the drinks are strong. Cocktail waitresses are often dressed in kimonos to add the theme a little bit. The Imperial Palace offers the same reward program for players that can be found at any of the Harrah’s properties which isn’t a bad deal because rewards can be redeemed at any of the hotels.

The Imperial Palace has put a little fun back into their table games by replacing dealers with celebrity impersonators. That’s right you can play poker dealt by your favorite stars. Impersonations include: Elvis, Gwen Stefani, Micheal Jackson, Barbra Streisand and many other favorites. Vegas has always been action-packed but this is the first time a casino has attempted to combine production shows and gaming. So sit and play poker at one of these tables instead of a neighboring casino and get more than expected. The most entertaining dealers in town are at Imperial Palace.

For the high-rollers, there is a Champagne Pit which offers high-limit tables and slots. There is also a nice sports book located just off the casino floor. They have 11 TVs for watching races and 15 for watching sports. There are also over 200 seats for guests enjoying the games or races. Free drinks are offered to anyone sitting in the sports book and Burger Palace is close by so no one has to go hungry or thirsty while betting. There is also a poker room with at least three tables going during most days. Also, the poker room is mostly low limit so there isn’t a lot of pressure for beginning players.
