Luxor Pool
Egypt may not be known for their beachside resorts. However, the Oasis Pool at Luxor Hotel and Casino mixes the beauty of ancient Egypt with pristine sparkling waters. The pool is open year round and it’s just as beautiful as it is relaxing. Pyramids rise from the pool and a row of columns with water spouts shoot water all along one side of the main pool.

The smaller of the two pools has tropical islands, complete with palm trees, built right into the water. The islands will have you feeling like a pharaoh as you lounge above the water while servants fan you and feed you grapes. OK—no one’s really going to fan you or feed you grapes but you can enjoy excellent food and beverage service poolside or rent a cabana were you’ll enjoy the finest in amenities including televisions, refrigerators, and even a few rafts for the pool.

There is also a poolside bar and café where you can crab a mojito or get a quick bite to eat. You can also relax in the whirlpool if the weather gets a little chilly. Oversized lounge chairs with umbrellas are also available for rent. The Luxor pool (even in the winter months) is frequented by an abundance of tourists while other pools on the strip are too empty to even stay open. Unlike some pools in Vegas, the pool is perfectly positioned so it gets direct sunlight for several hours of the day. Some pools in Las Vegas sit behind monstrous hotels that cast a towering shadow onto the pool. The Luxor pyramid however; acts as a reflector causing the water to glisten late into the evening. This is a sight even the pharaohs were not privileged enough to see.
