Animal lovers will not want to miss the wildest attraction in Las Vegas. Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat are the best places to see animals up close and personal. The Dolphin Habitat is great for kids. The dolphins will do tricks and splash around as you take pictures or just get up close and try to pet one. There are a total of six bottlenose dolphins at the habitat including a mom, dad, and son who is only a year old. Watch mom and son interact as they swim and dance in the water. True dolphin lovers will want to take part in the Trainer for a Day program. Participants will spend an entire day with the dolphins and actually get in the water with them and teach them some tricks. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that no animal-lover should miss. The program includes breakfast, lunch, certificate, wet-suit rental, souvenir photo CD and T-shirt.
Siegfried and Roy worked for years to help protect the endangered white tigers. Now, everyone can come see them in their own protected environment at the Secret Garden. Several types of lions and tigers call the Secret Garden home as they are cared for and studied by trainers and zoologists. The habitat allows spectators to see both striped tigers as well as completely white tigers which are extremely rare. The habitat is also very educational as trainers will be on hand to tell you all the about the Tigers as well as answer any questions you might have. The Secret Garden at the Mirage is truly one of the best kept secrets in Las Vegas.
