Monte Carlo Pool Review

All around, the pool at Monte Carlo is much more luxurious than you would expect for a moderately priced hotel. There is a lagoon pool, a kiddie pool, a small wave pool, and a lazy river all in one complex. The difference between the Monte Carlo and many other hotels in Vegas is that at the Monte Carlo you won’t have to choose between two extremes: the kid’s pool or the pool party. Monte Carlo offers a little bit of both. The kid’s area is separated well-enough from the adult swimming area. However, while the kids play in their area, the adults can relax in the lazy river which can be lots of fun and a great place to mix and mingle as you “accidentally” bump rafts.
The wave pool area was actually the first in Las Vegas and while it’s tons of fun it’s a little on the small side. Kids seem to love it, though. Poolside drink service is also available. If you’re not in the mood to get wet, there are plenty of shaded spots to lounge beneath large palm trees. If the trees don’t provide enough shade, rent one of the luxurious cabanas. Each has luxurious amenities and offers complete privacy from other sunbathers.
