The Monte Carlo is definitely luxury on a budget! The hotel oozes luxury in its appearance, but the price tag does not go along with it. I loved the outside façade, the Roman statues, and the marble foyer. But, the main thing that stood out to me was that it was lacking the themeing that the other Las Vegas hotels tend to have. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing! I liked how the hotel used pure luxury as THE theme of the hotel. Our room and the hotel were both clean and convenient. Our room was pretty basic, but our bathroom was extraordinary! The bathroom was roomy and very clean, more so than the average hotel. The hotel is only a hop, skip, and a jump away from the heart of the Strip. I really liked the size of our hotel, compared to other Vegas hotels. It was big, but not overly big to the point that we couldn’t navigate it. It was mainly an older crowd, which is what we were looking for since we were on a trip for our 30th anniversary. There weren’t a ton of kids running around, which made this hotel very relaxing. Next time, for a little more money, I am willing to pay to move closer to the middle of the Strip. But, for our circumstances, the Monte Carlo was perfect. I would stay here again when in Vegas. – Marla Q. (Seattle, WA)
