You can sure do A LOT worse in Las Vegas than the Orleans! Plus, this place definitely gives you the best bang-for-your-buck in all of Las Vegas! This hotel is nice. Nothing over-the-top or fancy, this hotel stays away from the glitzy tackiness that can be seen on the Strip. The outside of the hotel is simple and not flashy like the other Vegas hotels. The rooms are big, comfortable, and very accommodating to those with other family members. The hotel does seem to cater to the older crowd and those needing a family-friendly environment but that is A-OK by me! I much rather be around a group of older well-behaved adults than a bunch of drunk 20 somethings, any day! There are also great restaurants and bars all around the hotel, so it isn’t ALWAYS necessary to hop hotel to hotel. I do enjoy going down the Strip, however, so this was the only drawback (not being on the Strip). But, it is a lot quieter at the Orleans than the Strip hotels, which is nice. I would stay here again. If I was on a business trip or with my family again, it is perfect. But, if I were to come by myself or with my wife I would stay at the Bellagio or Mandalay Bay. – Ashton T.
