Planet Hollywood Theatre for the Performing Arts

A lot of talent has graced the stage of the Planet Hollywood Theatre for the Performing Arts. The only part of The Aladdin that was retained during the hotel’s transformation into Planet Hollywood, the nationally acclaimed 7,000-seat Theatre is the largest of its kind in the United States. Many a glamorous awards show, successful recording artist, legendary concert tour, and more have taken place in this expansive, auditorium-style venue.

From major musicians like Justin Timberlake to nationally touring Broadway shows, the Theatre for the Performing Arts has hosted some of the biggest entertainment acts to take place in Las Vegas. Thanks to a unique system of retractable, rainbow-colored metal mesh partitions, the Theatre has the ability to vary its seating from 2,800 to 7,000. This makes it a rarity among Vegas concert venues, since it can host major concert events with large attendance in addition to more intimate, showroom-style performances.

The Theatre can even be configured to host corporate and industrial events. Whatever the occasion, guests will enjoy prime entertainment from the Theatre’s plush purple seats, which, along with contemporary décor, give the venue a modern and sophisticated appearance.

Some of music’s most celebrated acts, such as Placido Domingo, Sheryl Crow, Nine Inch Nails, and Journey have performed at Planet Hollywood’s Theatre for the Performing Arts, in addition to current sensations like the Jonas Brothers and Jamie Foxx. The venue is also the site of internationally televised events like Showtime’s Boxing After Dark, America’s Got Talent, and the Miss USA and Miss America pageants, which hold their final competition on the Theatre’s stage every year.
