Rio Pool

Although not located on the Strip, the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino has all the workings of the bigger name Strip hotels. They even have a lush pool area that is just as impressive as the mega-pool complexes that are easily found along the Strip. The Rio has four pools, five Jacuzzis, two bars, and an outdoor grill. What more could you ask for? The pool at the Rio even offers a beach pool which actually has a sand bottom.

The lagoon style pool has cascading waterfalls that plunge into the water from a large rock formation overhead. The rocks create a shaded area for those who are looking to relax without burning in the hot Vegas sun. Colorful sea creatures are painted all along the rocks as the lagoon pool twist and turns creating a fun shape that has plenty of nooks and crannies to swim into.

The beach pool if filled with sand just like an actual beach. There is also a large fish tank in the center of one of the pools that you can swim up to and enjoy views of tropical fish, stingrays, and other sea creatures as they swim by. The Rio Pool gears mostly toward families. There are always tons of kids in the pool and lots of fun activities for them to enjoy. During the summer there is usually a DJ playing a mix of music genres that everyone can enjoy. Speakers are scattered all around the pool grounds so everyone can hear the music. The atmosphere at the pool can best be described as lively yet comfortable. Although there are lots of people and lots of different places to swim, the pool area is not intimidating.  The atmosphere at the Rio is also a lot more relaxed than some of the more manic pool-party scenes in town. Everyone here is just looking to enjoy some fun in the sun and no one is paying attention to how you look in your bikini.

Check out Rio's Adult pool area, VooDoo Beach, as well!
