The Sahara Hotel and Casino offers affordable rooms on the North end of the Strip with tons of dining, shopping, and entertainment venues right at your doorstep. The hotel has a distinct Moroccan theme and has become a landmark on the Las Vegas Strip. The Sahara Hotel is now celebrating its 55^th year in business and it is better than ever. Their newest headliner, Roseanne Barr will soon be opening inside their showroom. The towers of the Sahara are bright, colorful, and impossible to miss when traveling down the Strip. The Sahara has been home to some of the most famous Las Vegas performers of all time. Superstars like Liberace, the Beatles, and the Rat Pack have all graced the stage at the Sahara and their pictures remain on the wall to this day.

The hotel itself is home to an action packed casino which is famous for its penny and nickel slots that are prominent in the gaming area. Their sportsbook is open 24 hours a day and there is even a non-smoking poker room located just off the casino floor. Every NASCAR fan in Vegas gathers at the Sahara during the big races at the famous NASCAR Café, the only spot for everything NASCAR in Las Vegas. Another main attraction at this hotel is their thrill ride, Speed-The Ride. This roller coaster shoots riders 224 feet in the air at speeds of up to 70-mph.
