While this event still features the bullfights wearing their traje de luces, the elegantly embroidered “suit of lights” but there is no blood and the animal is no longer harmed. Velcro “spears” replace the brutal harpoons used in traditional bullfighting to keep the event exciting yet animal friendly.

The equestrian center also features concessions and a snack bar. Overlooking the entire arena is a lovely bar area that lets you enjoy a drink while you enjoy the show. Along with the bullfighting the equestrian center brings in events like rodeos and college basketball tournaments. If you would like to host an event there is 80,000 square feet of exhibition space and 20,000 square feet of meeting and pre-function space. For those of you considering bringing your animals to one of the events at this great equestrian center, you can rest assured they will be well taken care of. There are 1,200 enclosed horse stalls that are climate controlled to make sure your horses are comfortable. There is a 270’ x 90’ practice area inside the center and a 275’ x 150’ outside covered area as well.
