For our last family vacation, we chose to do something a little different than the typical Disney get-away. We went to Las Vegas. I had mentioned to my husband beforehand that I knew we would have a good time, but I was worried about bring our two teenage daughters. We booked our hotel room because they mentioned that it was “family friendly.” And, boy, were they right! It was perfect for us. The room was spacious for our party of four and offered great views of the Las Vegas Strip. The restaurants at the hotel provided numerous options for our family, so that everyone could find something that like. While I went to the Roni Josef Day Spa, my husband and two daughters checked out the thrill rides at the hotel. The girls loved it, and so did my husband. None of the shows at the hotel really appealed to us, so we had to go off the premises to find ones that were more fitting for our family. We ended up at Blue Man Group. The Stratosphere was so close to all of the show locations that it wasn’t a problem at all. Our location was perfect! When I come back with my husband for our anniversary in May, we may try one of the luxury hotels for a change of pace, but the Stratosphere was perfect for our family vacation. – Charlie W.
