Westin Casuarina Hotel Customer Review

The Westin is ok…For saving money, it’s great, but I would prefer a Strip hotel. The location is just ok. We were walking distance to the Wynn, Venetian, Bellagio, and Caesars, but I still much rather be ON the Strip. It was nice, though, to go to the pricier hotels, hang out there, and then be able to come back to our half price hotel room. Though not on the Strip, we did have decent amenities. The bed was VERY comfortable! However, if you are picky about “ritzy” rooms and want everything right at your finger tips, then this hotel is not for you. The room was overall very comfortable, but how often are you even in your hotel room? The casino was very small compared to the bigger hotels, but the bet minimums are much lower (so, you lose your money much slower…which is always a good thing!!). The one thing I really did like about this hotel was that they were very pet-friendly. We usually have to put our dog in a kennel when we go on vacation, but we were able to bring “Fido,” thus saving us the money we would normally spend putting him in a kennel. If you aren’t too picky, this hotel is great. If you are looking for a place that is comfortable and cheap, this hotel is great. But, if you are looking for a Strip hotel with all the ritzy amenities, this isn’t the place for you! – Mark S. (Charleston, SC)
