Treasure Island Casino Review

The Treasure Island Hotel and Casino really has something for everyone and it also has a great location on the Strip. People flock to the hotel to see the Sirens of T.I. Pirate Show which is often considered one of the best free shows in town.  However, the real attraction at this hotel is the world class gaming in the T.I. casino. The hotel isn’t as themed as it used to be and has dropped much of the pirate theme for a more contemporary design that has found its way into the casino as well.

The casino at Treasure Island is huge and offers all of your favorite games. The deal blackjack, Let It Ride, Pai Gow, roulette, craps, baccarat, three card, Caribbean Stud, and many more. During weekdays beginners can play craps for as little as $5. This may be one of the best deals on the Strip when it comes to craps. However, most games have minimum bets starting at $15 on weekends. Treasure Island offers a wide variety of slots that start a nickel and go up to $100 a spin. Like most of the MGM properties the cocktail service is excellent. They offer strong drinks to anyone in any area of the casino. They don’t discriminate according to how someone is betting or what slot they are sitting at. Cocktail waitresses are fast, efficient, and friendly. Treasure Island is also supposed to be pretty generous with comps. They are part of MGM Mirage and slot players can use credits at any of the properties. Comps are offered to bettors at the tables throwing down $50 a hand for several hours as well. It’s also not that hard to get a comped room here. Betting around $100 a hand and betting often will most likely get you a free room.

The race and sports book has 21 TVs. There is also one huge TV large enough to be a movie screen which is usually showing the main event of the day. There are plenty of seats for everyone in this book. There are 44 seats for sports bettors. There are also 80 seats for race bettors which each have individual desks and TVs. There are also 12 betting windows so you won’t have to wait in line to place your bets and like the rest of the casino drinks are comped in the sports book and the cocktail waitresses are eager to serve bettors while most casinos don’t offer free drinks in the race and sports book at all.
