Although not one of the newer properties in town, the pool at the Tropicana is still one of the best. With several large pools, lagoon pools, waterfalls, and lush garden atmosphere the Tropicana really lives up to its name. The main pool is 12,000 square feet and the maximum depth is 5 feet, which is actually pretty deep for a Las Vegas resort pool. This is most likely because the pool was built before regulations were in place to say otherwise. There is also a pool for adults-only, the lagoon pool is 800 square feet and shallow enough for sunbathers to enjoy. The deepest pool is the Garden Pool which is also 800 square feet but 6 feet deep. One of the pools is partially enclosed and a divider can enclose it completely for use during the winter. Many of the pools at Tropicana Las Vegas are heated, especially during the winter months.
During the summer swim-up blackjack is offered. Guests will also enjoy the Coconut Grove Bar right off the pool deck which offers lunch selections. Also enjoy the Tropics Pool Bar and another snack bar which are located in the pool area as well. Cabanas can be rented for some extra poolside luxury and amenities. The pool scene at Tropicana has pretty much whatever you are looking for. The adults-only pool offers a fun party scene while the main pool is great for kids and families. Some areas of the pool deck are relaxing with only the sounds of waterfalls behind you; while others are more fun and upbeat.
