I stayed at the Venetian for a conference out in Vegas. It was a gorgeous hotel! The interior was beautifully done with high painted ceilings (much like the Vatican) and marble floors. Some think that this is way over-the-top and cheesy, but I enjoyed it. The casino was extremely classy and fit to the theme of hotel. I like to gamble, but I don’t really like to dress up all that much, so I felt a bit out of place in the casino…so I went to nearby casinos to gamble. My room had a very romantic feel to it. There were plush linens and pillows, and a very romantic glow to the lighting. I loved being able to look out my window and see the surrounding waterways and gondolas. The hotel, however, is OVERWHELMINGLY big! That was the one big draw back. Also, if I were to come back to Vegas with my family, this is not the hotel I’d stay at. It’s not as kid friendly as the surrounding properties. But, if I could afford to stay here again, I definitely would! – Bart A. (Springfield, IL)
