When I go to Las Vegas, I am there to gamble! Being from California, I love being able to drive over the state line and be right at a casino. Whiskey Pete’s may not have all the frills of the Las Vegas Strip, but it has everything I need. Being the first hotel you see when you drive over the state line, it’s a great place to stop and stay for a night or two before heading over to the Strip. 48 miles outside of the heart of Vegas, the hotel has 777 rooms, so it must be lucky! The casino is packed with everything I need to gamble: slots, baccarat, craps, blackjack, slots, etc. The hotel is no frills! No spa, no attractions, and no room service here…but I really don’t need those on my stay to Vegas! The room was a little “sketchy,” but the room was only for sleeping and showering. The great thing about this hotel is that they had shuttle service to the other Primm properties, so I was able to gamble and see the other local hotels, as well. It is NO Las Vegas Strip by any means, but it does suffice. – Carrie O. (Los Angeles, CA)
