Golf Course Recommendations

Although you may not be aware, Las Vegas is one of the best golf destinations in the world. There are dozens of world famous courses located within just a few miles of the Las Vegas Strip. In fact, some of the courses are so prestigious that only VIPs are allowed to play them. Any golf-lover must at least play one of the courses in Las Vegas. Also keep in mind that you should book your tee times as early as possible. Spots fill up quickly and you don’t want to miss out just because you didn’t act early.

The most famous golf course in Las Vegas is conveniently located right on the Strip. However, there is a catch; you must be a guest of the Wynn Las Vegas in order to gain access to it. The Wynn golf course was expertly designed by Steve Wynn and Tom Fazio to create a course like none other in Las Vegas. The landscape at the Wynn golf course looks nothing like the dessert. Lush greens and even a 90-foot waterfall create the backdrop for some of the holes on the course. After you play, enjoy a delicious meal at the Wynn Country Club or relax in the lounge. The staff at Wynn Las Vegas will make you feel like king (or queen) for a day.

Shadow Creek is one of the most coveted courses in the world and it is located just minutes from the Strip. The course itself is crafted among the serene landscape of North Las Vegas. You will truly get a feel for the natural beauty of the desert as you play the holes at this course. Dozens of species of birds inhabit the 350-acre property. At one time, this course was closed off for professionals and VIPs, but now it is open to the public and just waiting for you to enjoy.

If you are staying in the Lake Las Vegas area, then don’t miss Reflection Bay at Lake Las Vegas. This tropical themed course looks like a mirage in the middle of the desert. Palm trees and more than a few water features add to the difficulty as well as the aesthetics of the course. The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and although it is difficult, it is still playable for beginners.
