Just by looking at her, you might mistake Cameron Diaz for a fashion model instead of one of America’s funniest leading ladies. With her new movie What Happens In Vegas now in theaters, Diaz is out and about promoting the film and she isn’t afraid to laugh at herself or admit that she loves to get a little wild in Sin City even when the cameras aren’t rolling.

The new movie starring Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher is now open in theaters. The movie is about two people who get married in Las Vegas after a night of excessive drinking and partying out on the Strip. They wake to find out that they not only got married but they also became millionaires winning a huge jackpot. The two plot against each other to find ways to have the marriage annulled and still keep the money for themselves. During their antics, the two actually finds themselves falling in love. The romantic comedy is set in Las Vegas and Diaz admits that it wasn’t a stretch to do a movie in the town she’s grown to love. Recently Diaz told W magazine:

“I love Vegas. It’s such an easy trip from L.A., and there’s always a hotel room because there’s about a billion of them, but honestly, you don’t even really need one if you’re just going for the weekend.”

She is also one of the highest paid women in Hollywood today. Diaz requires at least $15 million a movie, which puts her third on the list of highest paid females right after Reese Witherspoon and Angelina Jolie.

Diaz got her start in the film industry after appearing in major motion pictures such as The Mask, There’s Something About Mary, and My Best Friend’s Wedding and she hasn’t looked back since. Often known as one of the funniest blondes in Hollywood, Diaz takes her “girl next door” personality and blasts it onto the big screen. Her goofy personality is truly what got her where she is and in a recent interview with iVillage, Diaz talked about her comedy:

“I've pretty much behaved like a knucklehead my entire life, It was probably more adorable when I was a child…as an adult I'm sure it's less attractive.”

Although funny, Diaz almost never appears unattractive on film, as guys seem to love her sultry and cute personality. Not to mention blonde hair and fit athletic condition. Cameron Diaz admitted that she loved shooting in Vegas because it is one of her favorite places to visit. However, she suggests that people should not marry strangers during a drunken nights in Las Vegas. Audiences won’t mind, however, if those people are Ahston Kutcher and Cameron Diaz.
