Steven Martin began his career on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, earning his first Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing Achievement in Comedy, Variety or Music in 1969. With appearances on “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” and NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” he rose to fame and went on to star in popular films including “The Jerk,” “Roxanne” and “Father of the Bride,” to name a few.

Martin Short also earned great success after his breakout season on “Saturday Night Live” with roles in blockbuster hits such as “Inner Space,” “Pure Luck,” “Father of the Bride,” “Mars Attacks” and “Madagascar 3.” Short even made his mark on Broadway with credits including Little Me, The Goodbye Girl and It’s Only a Play.
