It must be all the palm trees, pools and sunshine, but something about Las Vegas makes you want a margarita. And if you’re having a margarita, you might as well enjoy some chips and guacamole too, right? Fortunately, there are no shortage of places to order a bowl of ripe guacamole made with creamy avocados sourced from nearby California and Mexico. If you want the best experience possible, opt for a restaurant that prepares it tableside. Not only does this result in the freshest guacamole possible, it can also allow for some level of customization, plus a nice dose of Las Vegas flair.

El Dorado Cantina
At El Dorado Cantina, you’ll find a sprawling space where you can knock back your choice of over 100 tequilas while enjoying tableside guacamole made with Hass avocados, cilantro, serrano chiles, garlic, tomatoes, onions and lime juice. The huge menu also includes pozole, street tacos and enchiladas. El Dorado Cantina is open 24 hours a day, and shares a parking lot with Sapphire Las Vegas Gentlemen’s Club, making it a popular destination for anyone who is in the mood for a trip to a strip club followed by late-night Mexican fare.

Juan’s Flaming Fajitas
You might have to wait for a table at Juan’s Flaming Fajitas, but it’ll be worth it. The bustling Mexican restaurant has locations in the downtown Henderson Water Street District and on the west side of town. Order tableside guacamole with your selection of ingredients and follow it up with the restaurant’s signature fajitas. During the daily happy hour from 3-7 every day, you can order Juan’s sampler, which includes bean and cheese nachos, a cheese quesadilla, chicken or beef taquitos and guacamole.

El Segundo Sol
On the south end of the Strip outside of Fashion Show Mall beneath a canopy of trees, you’ll find El Segundo Sol, a lively destination for tequila, ceviche, tacos and, of course, tableside guacamole made with Del Rey Farms avocados and served with salsa and tortilla chips. El Segundo also has a popular happy hour from 4-7 every day, which includes loaded nachos served with guacamole.

Hecho en Vegas
Hecho en Vegas a colorful space inside MGM Grand that’s a perfect pre-going out spot. Order tableside guacamole made with sea salt, cilantro, serrano chile, onions and tomatoes and then grab some beer-battered shrimp tacos and chipotle chile-braised pulled chicken tacos. There’s also a great queso fundido appetizer made with a blend of asadero, Oaxaca and blanco cheese that’s a nice accompaniment to have with the guacamole. The fun restaurant also offers a Mexican brunch every Saturday that includes a Bloody Mary bar.

Lindo Michoacan
Lindo Michocan has been in Las Vegas since 1990 and has since expanded to three locations. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Lindo Michoacan offers everything from huevos con nopalitos (scrambled eggs with Mexican cactus), carnitas marinated in Coca-Cola sauce and tableside guacamole made with Hass avocados, jalapeno, onions, cilantro, tomatoes and fresh lime juice.
