Spring is a time of renewal and this season, Las Vegas is renewing your entertainment with some brand new shows. Get ready to be transported to other dimensions, have a good laugh, pay tribute to your favorite artists and even get caught up in flames with these six Vegas shows:
The creators of Absinthe invite you to a new dimension of entertainment with the new show Opium at The Cosmopolitan. You’ll slip through a crack in the space/time continuum and experience a spaceship of fools. Opium is currently in its preview schedule. The regular schedule begins April 10 and runs Tuesday through Saturday.
For another transportive show, check out WOW at Rio. The internationally-acclaimed production transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary. Audiences are transported into a world of water, wonder and fantasy as more than 30 artists fly, flip, fold, dance and defy the imagination. It’s all performed in a 180-degree setting with 3D multi-media projections, water walls and holograms. WOW performs Tuesday through Sunday at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m.
Inferno: The Fire Spectacular
Things will heat up this spring when internationally acclaimed magician Joe Labero brings his talents to Paris Las Vegas. The stage will literally light up with the illusionists fire art and death-defying stunts. The Fuel Girls, one of the world’s most talented troupe of fire artists, will join Labero for a little extra fiery fun. Inferno heats things up Wednesday through Sunday at 9:30 p.m.
Magic Mike Live
If you’re looking to experience a little heat without the actual fire this spring, come check out the adult revue Magic Mike Live at Hard Rock Hotel. The show recreates the mythical Club Domina as a cabaret nightclub space. Thirteen of the sexiest and most talented men in the country perform in and around the audience to daring themed dance and strip routines. The sizzling production was co-directed by Channing Tatum and film franchise choreographer Alison Faulk. Magic Mike Live will get your heart racing Wednesday through Sunday at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Vegas is full of tribute shows but none that includes one man performing them all! This spring watch comic-impressionist Rich Natole impersonate more than 85 impressions for his 300-voice repertoire in the show That’s Vegas! The show features tributes to such artists as Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson. Natole couples his impressions with music, sleight of hand magic tricks and specialty acts in That’s Vegas!
For a good laugh this spring, look no further than Carl LaBove’s new comedy show, Stripped. LaBove takes the audience on a hilarious journey through Sin City with crazy stories that are everything you’ve either experienced from or heard about The Entertainment Capital of the World. Stripped entertains Thursdays through Tuesdays at 10 p.m.
