Last Friday night, the raunchy, risqué and hilarious show Absinthe at Caesars Palace celebrated its 4,000th performance in Las Vegas.

At the end of the 10 p.m. show, the raucous assistant to The Gazillionaire, Wanda Widdles, took centerstage to share news of the milestone and to announce her finale celebration surprise for The Gazilllionaire - an assortment of guest stars: A group of authentic, costumed buskers from the Strip.

More than a dozen street performers and photo posers who populated the sidewalks of Bellagio Fountains, the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood on the Strip serenaded down the center Strip to recognize Gaz and his outlandish production. Included in the parade was Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper, Spider-Man, Captain America, showgirls, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Elmo, Playboy Bunnies and more. It was topped with a stunning three-tiered cake from Freed’s Bakery.

The busker parade was reminiscent of Absinthe’s opening night, April 1, 2011, when street performers took over the courtyard at Roman Plaza, where the show originally performed.

"For tax reasons, I've been obliged to pay Wanda one penny for her services at each performance of ABSINTHE," said The Gazillionaire. "Who knew she had been saving them up, and now she's spent all $40 on an idiot parade to celebrate my 4,000th performance in Las Vegas. Thanks...I guess?"

Absinthe, which was recently proclaimed The #1 Greatest Show in Las Vegas History, mixes burlesque, vaudeville and circus for a show that is unlike anything you’ve witnessed before.  Absinthe will celebrate its eighth year in Las Vegas in April 2019.
