It’s still a fun zone for adults and parents, but there are several hotels, casinos and attractions that now cater to the younger crowd. Now all the city is missing, is an on-call baby-sitting service. Here is a list of some fun places and activities for you and the kiddos.
Circus Circus Las Vegas
True to its name, Circus Circus is a Circus. The hotel is complete with a “big top,” known as the Adventuredome. Take the kids for a night at Neon Nights at the Adventuredome, every Friday through Sunday. The five acres of indoor fun at the Adventuredome take on a new vibe with neon-inspired rides, attractions and Midway Games. There is also glow neon face painting, glow t-shirts and a new Neon Disco roller skating rink. Fun for the whole family!
FLY LINQ Zipline Las Vegas
The Newest Zip Line in Las Vegas located at the LINQ Promenade. Scream, laugh, or cry as you fly high 12 stories above The LINQ Promenade. Heads up, riders 12 years of age and under must be accompanied by a ticketed rider who is 13 years of age and over. Riders under the age of 18 must have a Parent or Legal Guardian sign the FLY LINQ Waiver of Liability.
Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.
This attraction is fun for any and all Superhero and comic book lovers. Either go on a virtual excursion with the Avengers or check out the costume and prop exhibit. The exhibit features an extensive range of original Avengers operational equipment, such as Captain America’s uniform and shield, Hawkeye and Black Widow uniforms and weapons and much more. Open daily from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Located inside Treasure Island.
The Big Apple Rollercoaster and Arcade
An iconic landmark of Las Vegas, New York New York rollercoaster is one of the most famous and popular attractions in the city. The rollercoaster is open year-round, and is a great adventure for kids and adults alike. However, you must be at least 54 inches tall to ride. The ride now offers a new feature: The Big Apple Coaster Virtual Reality Experience. Chase aliens as you ride high above the Las Vegas Strip. All passengers must meet the height requirement and be a minimum of 13 years old to ride with virtual reality.
Dolphins at The Mirage
Every kid’s dolphin dream can come true at the Mirage. Get a chance to get up close and personal with some of the most beautiful, intelligent creatures on the planet. The Mirage offers a VIP experience that includes swimming with their Bottlenose Dolphins. The excursion starts at 8:30 a.m. in the Secret Garden, followed by the VIP swim with the dolphins. Playground at Container Park
If you’re downtown, head over to Container Park for some adult fun that is also kid-friendly at an offbeat shopping center built from shipping containers. Not only is there an array of restaurants, galleries and small shops to explore, but there is also a treehouse jungle gym for the kids to play on. Relax on the fake lawn in front of a stage that was originally a train engine. The lawn offers a play area for kids, complete with large foam building blocks. However, children are not allowed in the area after 9 p.m. Entry is free for all.
