Cirque du Soleil fans can now enjoy one of Cirque’s most popular Vegas shows for two extra days. The iconic aquatic adventure O at the Bellagio Resort & Casino recently announced it has added Mondays & Tuesdays to the show’s schedule. “O” now performs seven days a week.

“We are grateful that the demand for ‘O’ has never been stronger and to be in the position where we can offer guests more opportunities to see the show,” said Matt Nickel, General Manager, Cirque du Soleil Resident Shows Division in a statement. “This production has been an essential part of the Las Vegas experience from the day it opened.”

“O” debuted in 1998 and since then has been viewed by more than 17 million guests from around the world. The most unique of Cirque’s shows in Las Vegas, “O” features Cirque’s usual acrobatics coupled with incredible water elements. “O”, whose name is pronounced the same way as eau, is the French word for "water” so it is no surprise that part of the acts are performed in a pool filled with 1.5 million gallons of water. Those acts include synchronized swimmers including nine Olympians, performing 60-foot high dives, among many other breathtaking sights. The show includes 85 additional cast and crew members to accommodate the new schedule.

‘O’ has proven to be one of the most powerful entertainment brands Las Vegas has ever seen. Its appeal to visitors has grown with each year, a true testament to the creative genius of our partners at Cirque du Soleil,” said George Kliavkoff, MGM Resorts’ President of Entertainment & Sports in a statement. “The expansion of the show’s schedule enables even more guests to make ‘O’ part of their travel itinerary, something we are incredibly pleased to offer.”

“O” now performs seven nights a week at the Bellagio Resort & Casino at 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m..
