Whether you’re from out of town or living local in Las Vegas, we’re rounding the best places for you to get a bird’s eye view of this big, bright city. From the Eiffel Tower Experience Viewing Deck at Paris Las Vegas to the Stratosphere Tower, the strip is packed with perfect places to take in the desert skyline. But if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle or trying to find your next romantic date location, check out our top picks for the most breathtaking views of the valley.
Bring a picnic, blanket, your camera and brace yourself for one of the most amazing views in Las Vegas. You can find this spot hidden in the hills of the Southeast area. Crossroads are Bicentennial and Via Firenze.
Located in the Northwest part of the valley, you will find an isolated hill known as Lone Mountain. You can take a hike up this mountain or take a 2.1 mile walk along the trails around the mountain to take in views of the city.
While we wouldn’t recommend this spot for anyone trying to escape the bustling strip for an hour or two, we must say this giant Ferris Wheel gives you killer views of both the strip and the surrounding city, making it perfect for tourists that are curious about what the suburbs look like.
Head on over to this neighborhood for more killer views. You can be certain that this is a great lookout spot, because it is known for being the highest elevation in the city.
Hot Air Balloon
If you’re feeling really adventurous, take a tour of Red Rock Canyon with a Vegas hot air balloon ride. The tours offer a 1-hour sunrise or sunset ride with clear views of the strip, suburbs, Red Rock Canyon and surrounding mountains.
Take a Drive
If you’re not interested in stopping anywhere, but would still like a killer view, take a drive east on Summerlin Parkway towards US-95. Wait until sundown and all of the lights from the strip will paint a breathtaking picture.
Green Valley Ranch
This one might sound silly, but drive to the top floor of the Green Valley Ranch Resort parking garage for a stellar view of the strip and surrounding city.
