Vegas loves to party, and St. Patrick’s Day is one of the city’s best parties. From entertainers to green beer, here are just some of the ways to celebrate the luck of the Irish in Las Vegas:
The LINQ of the Irish
The LINQ Promenade will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with its annual party starting Friday, March 15. The fun is centered around O’Shea’s Casino and pub and includes:
Irish folk band Darby O’Gill, who kicks off the festivities at The LINQ Promenade’s fountain stage from 5-8 p.m. on Friday.
Bagpipers who will entertain Saturday and Sunday mornings, stopping in at venues like Virgil’s Real BBQ, Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery, Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar, Off the Strip, O’Shea’s and Flour and Barley - Brick Oven Pizza.
On Sunday, enjoy a grand final with the St. Patricks’ Day parade. The procession will roll through the Promenade at noon and include drummers, bagpipers, celebrity guests, stilt walkers and Irish dancers. The parade will end at O’Sheas Casino where Mr. Lucky, the leprechaun, will give the official toast.
Food & Drinks
The LINQ will add to the fun with St. Patrick’s Day food and drinks specials. Here are the following venues with specials:
Sprinkles Cupcakes and Ice Cream will feature a green waffle cone for all ice cream purchases from March 1 to 17. The sweet shop will also satisfy your St. Patrick’s Day sweet tooth with the Shamrock Cupcake - mint candy studded chocolate cake topped with a green mint frosting from now through March 17.
Virgil’s real BBQ will go Irish with a plate of two Genuine Irish Corned Beef Sliders from March 15-17. Wash those down with an Irish Mule (Jameson, ginger beer and lime) or the Irish Milkshake (Kerry Gold Irish Cream and Jameson Irish Whiskey, blended with Vanilla Ice Cream). Virgil’s will also offer Jameson shot and Guinness bucket specials and a tasting flight of Irish whiskeys.
At Haute Doggery’s, enjoy the Luck of the Irish Dog featuring a char-grilled frank, corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss Cheese, relish, and mustard for $7.99.
Flour and Barley will feature their Bangers and Mash pizza from March 12-19, with Jalapeno mustard cream sauce, sausage, potato, farm egg, bacon, and corned beef for $19. You can pair that with a $5 green Coors Light.
Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen and Bar will satisfy tastebuds with Guy’s Killer Corned Beef, made with 8-day brine, cabbage, carrots and buttered potatoes, and served with spicy mustard and a creamy horseradish sauce for $24.50
Off the Strip Bistro and Bar is adding some Irish flair to the menu with a Corned Beef Breakfast with two eggs ($19), Corned Beef with cabbage and red potatoes ($32) and Corned Beef Hoagie ($16) options.
Chayo Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar is going green with green nachos, tacos, burritos and beer. They’ll also have Guinness on draft for $8/$12 and Jameson or green Patron shots for $8.
Miracle Mile Shops
Cabo Wabo Cantina will bring a taste of Dublin to the Strip with special Irish-inspired dishes and parties. From March 15-17, enjoy such dishes as the Torta de Reuben, made with corned beef, pepper jack cheese, Russian dressing spread and sauerkraut on bolillo bread, or the corned beef quesadilla with Oaxaca cheese, sauerkraut and Russian dressing spread on a flour tortilla. Cabo Wabo will also host parties on the outdoor patio on March 16 and March 17 from noon until 3 a.m. All drafts will be served green on Sunday, March 17, with prices starting at $7.
Blondies keeps things festive with $5 Jameson, Tullamore Dew, Irish Car Bomb and green tea shots, $5 16-ounce cans of Guinness and $5 green beer darts from March 16-17.
Dough, the San Francisco-based edible cookie dough shop will make your St. Patrick’s Day sweeter with scoops of green cookie dough with an edible coin for just $8. The treat is available from 10 a.m.. to noon on March 17.
Garret Popcorn Shops will serve Irish kettle corn from March 12-24.
Beer Park St. Patrick’s Day Brunch
Beer Park at Paris Las Vegas will host an all-day party starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 17. The park will serve brunch staples in addition to corned beef and cabbage egg rolls. There will also be mimosas and green beer all day long.
