The Stratosphere Hotel, Casino Tower is about to get an all-new, international production written and directed by Sasha Ivanov, Celestia, will debut at the Vegas resort on January 30. The show combines acrobatics, technology, live music, dance, state-of-the-art technology and sophisticated illusion artistry in a never-before-seen 200,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art tent.

Celestia tells an otherworldly story of love and sacrifice through 32 multicultural performers who perform stunning acrobatics, aerial feats, and contemporary dance. That coupled with live musicians and elements of fire and illusion create an eye-popping immersive experience. One highlight is the Wheel of Death act, real-time motion capture and projection mapping. There is also mind-blowing body contortion, hand-balancing and silk acts. The 90-minute show will be suitable for all ages.

An award-winning team has helped put the show together including technical director of acrobatic elements Juan Carlos Valencia. Valencia has over 25 years of experience, working with The Royal London Circus, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. The show’s choreography team includes the Emmy Award-winning Bonnie Story, as well as Kevin Wilson and Jimmy Arguello.

Celestia will have eight performances per week, with 7 p.m. shows on Wednesdays and Thursdays and 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. shows on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and is dark Mondays and Tuesdays.
