St. Patrick’s Day is just two days away, and New York-New York Hotel & Casino is celebrating with The Strip’s largest St. Patrick’s Day celebration, Celtic Feis. From March 15-17 on the Brooklyn Bridge, party-goers can enjoy plenty of festivities including two parades, live music, entertainment and traditional Irish fare at Nine Fine Irishmen.
“In its 10th year, New York-New York’s Celtic Feis celebration is a beloved tradition and this year will be the biggest yet,” said Brent Cook, Vice President of Food and Beverage at New York-New York Hotel & Casino in a statement. “We take great pride in creating the ultimate Irish experience for Las Vegas locals and visitors alike, an experience that has become one of the liveliest St. Patrick’s Day events on The Strip.
The shenanigans begin today at 2 p.m. with a parade starting at Bliss Dance at The Park and continuing through the property to the Brooklynn Bridge. After the procession, the 2019 inductees into New York-New York’s “Wall of Fine” will be announced, recognizing employees who have gone above and beyond over the past year. The festivities officially begin after a Guinness welcome toast.
On Saturday and Sunday, March 16 and 17, starting at 11 a.m. at the Brooklyn Bridge, revelers can party with live entertainment, including five Irish bands, stilt performers and even leprechauns.
St. Patrick’s Day kicks off with another parade through the property beginning at 10:30 a.m. Then it’s one more Guinness toast before the really party begins.
Throughout the weekend, Nine Fine Irishmen will serve traditional Irish fare from 10 a.m. - 11 p.m., including signature dishes like beer n’ cheese dip, shepherd’s pie, Irish bangers and corned beef and cabbage.
Live performers include Sheleighly’s, Sin E Ri Ra, Phoenix and Celtic Rockers.
