Chicago The Musical roars into The Venetian Theatre this month with a seven-show stop helmed by supermodel and actress Christie Brinkley serving as Roxie Hart.

The show, set in the roaring ’20s, tells the story of murderous and fame hungry housewife and nightclub dancer. After murdering her husband after he threatens to leave her, Roxie hires Chicago’s slickest criminal lawyer, who ultimately sensationalizes the story and makes her famous.

Christie made her debut as Roxie in 2010 to critical acclaim. After the Las Vegas engagement, she will return to the Broadway production for four weeks.

In addition to Brinkley, the production offers choreography styled after Bob Fosse’s original moves and unforgettable songs like “All That Jazz,” “Cell Block Tango” and “Razzle Dazzle.”

Chicago first ran on Broadway in 1976 for nearly a thousand performances. It was revived in 1996, garnering six Tony Awards. It holds the record as the longest-running revival in Broadway history. It also has a long connection with Vegas, as the original resident production show at Mandalay Bay, in the theater where Michael Jackson One is staged. The show ran for years, ending in 2000.

Chicago The Musical runs April 10-14, Wednesday - Friday at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday - Sunday at 2 & 7:30 p.m. You can find discounted tickets to the show here on Best of Vegas.
