One of the marvelous things about visiting Sin City is that it's under constant reinvention. There's always something new to discover and enjoy. Some favorites might sadly disappear, but others give you new reasons to come back for the latest thrills.

Such is the case at Sugar Factory American Brasserie. Once a Strip-side fixture at Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, the food-and-fun destination recently reopened in a bigger Fashion Show Mall location. Bursting with color, flavor, tempting meals and sinful desserts, the flagship location lures crowds that leave satiated – and toting oodles of keepsakes from the gift shop.

Not content on already being a runaway success, the minds at Sugar Factory decided to raise expectations through the roof. They've literally topped their venue with another level of fun via the adult-skewing Chocolate Lounge. Together, the two venues have created a glamorous experience for lovers of all things sweet and shiny.

Celebrities have long been a big part of Sugar Factory's success. Show business "pop tarts" like Britney Spears and the Jenner clan cling to SF's signature Couture Lollipops. Chocolate Lounge is carrying on that tradition by attracting the famous to their penthouse-styled venue for epic functions. Vegas favorites like the cast of Thunder from Down Under, Backstreet Boys, Mike Tyson and Nick Cannon have all gotten a taste of Chocolate Lounge.

Recently record-holding Olympic gold medalist and Vegas local Leon Spinks celebrated his 65th birthday at the Chocolate Lounge. Under the glow of Wynn/Encore and Palazzo's glamorous towers, dozens of Spinks' famous friends and loved ones strolled the red carpet to pay homage to the boxing legend.

Best of Vegas was there to cover and enjoy the evening's festivities, which took place in conjunction with the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame weekend. Leon and wife Brenda Glur Spinks welcomed honored guests from the boxing world, like Layla Carter, James Quick Tillis, Kenny Bayless, Dawn Steele, Shelly Williams and Joel Casamayor.

Entertainers, including Michael T. Ross (Raiding the Rock Vault) and Murray SawChuck (Murray the Magician), artist Michael Godard and realtor-to-the stars Jeff Desruisseaux added signatures and personal messages to a satin robe and oversized boxing gloves presented to the champ. Godard unveiled a special painting created for the occasion.

The Chocolate Lounge was a marvelous indoor/outdoor venue for this eclectic collection of revelers. An amazing view and quirky atmosphere of carnival lights, carousel horses, glimmering gazebo and a giant duck complimented Leon's warm, outrageous humor.

Also bringing smiles were hors d'oeuvres supplied by Sugar Factory. Chicken satay, miniature burgers, bruschetta, Buffalo wings and Mac & Cheese "pops" – all part of an expansive menu of goodies available in the main dining room – were on offer.

Of course, any restaurant with "sugar" in the name is bound to be confection-centric. Sugar Factory boasts world-famous desserts like Premium Chocolate Fondue, Insane Milkshakes and Gourmet Ice Cream Sandwiches. Then there are their Goblet Signature Cocktails – glasses filled to the brim with your favorite libations, blended into a week's worth of sugar rush.

Chocolate Lounge has brought these two favorites together with a menu designed strictly for adults. Have you ever heard of White Chocolate-Dipped Peppermint or Orange-Chocolate Truffle Martinis? How about a Dark Chocolate Berry Sangria? Perhaps your tastes lean towards a Frozen Chocolate Bacon S'mores blended with vodka, Bailey's and graham cracker liqueur.

Gourmet Truffles and Pralines are paired with hand-selected wines. Pizzas receive the Chocolate Factory treatment with the Nutella Sweet Dough and Reese's Pieces Pizza, which complement an assortment of beers from around the world.

As you can tell, Chocolate Lounge gives a whole new meaning to the term "ultra lounge." With its stunning location, whimsical decor, amazing menu and impeccable service, this new addition to the Sugar Factory family should be a runaway hit, as well as a great place to people-watch for your favorite stars.

Sugar Factory and Chocolate Lounge are located at 3200 S. Las Vegas Blvd.
