There is plenty of holly jolly festivities happening in Las Vegas this December, plus a few non-holiday events. From glowing lights to ice rinks, to New Year’s Eve parties, and even some country music, here’s what’s happening in Vegas this December:

National Finals Rodeo
The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo returns to Las Vegas this December 6 - 15. During the ten-day competition, rodeo fans can enjoy everything from the rodeo finals to other fun activities like Miss Rodeo America, Cowboy Christmas, Country Christmas, Downtown Hoedown, autograph sessions and plenty of NFR entertainment including the following headliners:

Holiday Festivities
Glittering Lights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway – Take a whirl around the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and take in millions of gorgeous holiday lights sprinkled around the 2.5 mile track. Glittering Lights also has its own radio station that plays a special soundtrack for the festive drive. The display is open now through January.

The Christmas Tree at The Ice Rink at Cosmopolitan – Who says you can’t ice skate in the desert? At the Cosmopolitan you sure can when the Boulevard Pool is transformed into The Ice Rink. At the Ice Rink skate across 4,200 square feet of real ice, roast s’mores by the fire and enjoy seasonal food and beverages. The Cosmopolitan Ice Rink is open now through January 6.

Holiday Experience at The Park - Celebrate the holidays at The Holiday Experience at The Park with 21 days of holiday flavors and festive fun. Guests can indulge in sweet treats, warm cocktails, photo ops, live entertainment and interactive experiences. Holiday Experience at The Park takes place Friday through Sunday in December as well as select special event days from 4-8 p.m.

Magical Forest at Opportunity Village – Celebrate the holidays with the southern Nevada tradition - the Magical Forest at Opportunity Village. The Forest is a winter wonderland filled with of sparkling lights (over 1 million have been added this year), nightly entertainment, food and holiday cheer.

New Year’s Eve
We can’t talk about December without mentioning New Year’s Eve! It’s easily Vegas’ biggest party of the year with fireworks, nightlife, celebrities and tons of entertainment. You can expect to party with Gwen Stefani, Gucci Mane, Ariana Grande and many more at some of Vegas’ hottest nightclubs like Hard Rock Cafe, Drai’s Nightclub, Tao Nightclub, Beer Park, OMNIA and more.
