International theatrical production, Fuerza Bruta is coming to Las Vegas. The new-to-Vegas production is set to open March 7 at Excalibur for a six-month engagement. The show will perform in a tent on the property’s northwest corner of the Strip and Reno Avenue.
“Fuerza Bruta has performed to extraordinary acclaim around the world and we believe they will quickly become a mainstay on the Strip,” said Excalibur President and COO Ann Hoff in a statement. “We know Las Vegas audiences will fall in love with the spectacular production that must be seen to be believed.”
Launched in Buenos Aires in 2003 by Creator and Artistic Director Diqui James and Musical Director and Composer Gaby Kerpel, Fuerza Bruta has performed for more than six million spectators in more than 34 countries and 58 cities.
At every show, guests are ushered onto the main stage, where they are surrounded by a 360-degree spectacle with performers demonstrating their talents. They walk so close to the audience you will almost be able touch them. Aerial effects will be performed above a Lucite (translucent plastic) pool and while surrounded by Mylar (thin, durable polyester film used in photography and insulation).
Fuerza Bruta joins Excalibur productions Tournament of Kings, Australian Bee Gees and Thunder from Down Under.
The show will run 10 shows weekly at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays, dark Mondays and Tuesdays.
